The X International Biennial of Architecture in Santo Domingo made this 13th of November, the 40th anniversary of the death of Guillermo González Sánchez, the award ceremony of the projects chosen by the jury that on this occasion was composed by Daniel Elie, Haiti, Fernando Abruña, Puerto Rico and Manuel Salvador Gautier, Dominican Republic, who presided at and Aixa Weber, who served as secretary of the jury. X INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE BIENNALE DE SANTO DOMINGO
RAPPORTEUR ; PROJECT EVALUATION
Day November 12, 2010
First speech on November 11, with the announcement of the Biennale Committee Chairman Erwin Cott Architect at the Museum of Modern Art Santo Domingo delivery team members (sworn and secretary) of the contest rules, regulations and official designation of the corresponding functions in each case.

1 .- The preliminary selection of projects through a first round of individual assessment in which each juror will make your journey choosing in different categories, the amount described below:

2) After the preliminary screening carried out a further meeting to confront the individual decisions, determining the similarities between the selected projects and considering them as presets in their category, and it will be considered for further evaluation those selected works projects or individual but overlapping ways.
3) With the complete screening by the jury, a second round of evaluation team to discuss the values \u200b\u200band criteria to choose the preset time winning projects.
4) The jury determines that the prizes that are considered deserts in one category may be awarded to another, supported by appropriate supporting documentation.

AWARD
After a thorough review of plans submitted for public works projects and thesis projects of students, the jury determined:

3 .- The category Experimental Design and the jury found the winning project "Mobile Tourism Unit, the Archs. Andy Zapata, Ramon Correa and Robert Joa . This project is categorized as experimental rather than green.

This project had been listed as Green Architecture, but the jury consider including in this category.
The module supports autonomy from the point of view of infrastructure allowing access to natural areas with minimal impact.
The formal aspect is interesting, approaching the artistic expression of a sculpture and completely transforming the traditional look of a trailer or van.

5 .- In the category of Theory, History and / or Criticism of Architecture and / or Planning was established to award two prizes:
a) A book award "Architecture Dominican people, "Victor Manuel Durán and Emilio José Brea .
